We have just teamed up with a new insurer for a Tech led Fleet Insurance product.
Competitive premiums are given in return for a black box being fitted to each vehicle (Free in the first year).
Providing no or low claims, a rebate of premium will be given upon renewal.
But the most interesting part is the insurer will give you online access to the black box data in real time (Free of charge) and they will rate your drivers behaviour on the road and give them a driver rating based on this data. This give you an insight to how your drivers are doing out there on the roads and gives you back control as a fleet operator/owner. This is a very worthwhile risk management tool, letting you turn bad drivers around with additional training/advice etc and will help you as a business to reduce claims and incidents which in turn will drive down your premium.
Most fleets are eligible and also single commercial vehicles too.
